Staff and Services

Who We Are

Futures Forward is a collaboration of three organizations that aim to reduce barriers for young people exiting Child and Family Services (CFS) in Manitoba as they transition into adulthood between the ages of 15-29 years old.

The Futures Forward collaborative includes Youth Employment Services Manitoba, Community Financial Counselling Services, and the Canadian Mental Health Association of Manitoba and Winnipeg. Our unique program provides coordinated access for youth to get support in finding employment, planning for their education, improving their financial wellness, accessing mental health counselling, connecting with Indigenous cultural programming, navigating systems and accessing resources, and more.

Staff work as a multidisciplinary team across multiple offices to provide diverse and comprehensive services.

The Futures Forward program is funded by the Government of Manitoba’s Department of Housing, Addictions and Homelessness.

We are grateful for additional funding from:

The Winnipeg Foundation

The Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada

The United Way Winnipeg

This website development was funded by the Northpine Foundation, and designed with the input and direction of the Youth Advisory Squad and Tetro.
